ping: sendmsg: Operation not permitted
« il: 26 Giugno 2017, 12:38:41 »
Buongiorno a tutti,

quando lancio un ping verso la rete 192.168.1680/24, la quale mi dovrebbe risultare raggiungibile attraverso una VPN, ho questa risposta da parte del comando ping:

[root@fw ~]# ping 192.168.168.0
PING 192.168.168.0 (192.168.168.0) 56(84) bytes of data.
ping: sendmsg: Operation not permitted
ping: sendmsg: Operation not permitted
ping: sendmsg: Operation not permitted
^C
--- 192.168.168.0 ping statistics ---
3 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 2063ms

La rotta per la rete 192.168.168.0/24 l' ho aggiunta

[root@fw ~]# netstat -rn | grep 192.168.168.0
192.168.168.0   192.168.0.25    255.255.255.0   UG        0 0          0 eth0

NB:192.168.0.25 un mikrotik, mi gestisce lui la VPN

Riuscite a darmi qualche suggerimento?

Grazie in anticipo

spiegazione del messaggio di errore trovata in rete:

Citazione
The "ping: sendmsg: Operation not permitted" error, means that your system is unable to send ICMP packets outbound from your server. This means that you likely have a firewall rule that is blocking ICMP traffic to that IP, or perhaps ICMP entirely.
