dopo aver passato tutto il pomeriggio, come scritto prima...il problema di fondo era data dall' inserimento della stringa nel file httpd.conf
che non faceva partire correttamente il servizio
Usando il comando:

sudo setenforce 0ho seguito il riavvio del servizio httpd che stavolta è partita correttamente
adesso i virtualhost funzionano

da ulteriore verifiche ho scoperto che aggiungendo la stringa:

IncludeOptional sites-enabled/*.confal file httpd.conf, il servizio apache non parte
Chiaramente non sapendo dove sono i virtualhost senza quella stringa, i domini non funzionano
C'è qualcosa che non capisco

Che permessi dovrebbero avere i files/cartelle ?
Hai gentilmente una guida ben fatta su come impostare i virtualhosts in centos?
Quali log potrei allegare?

Ciao a tutti,
ho installato Apache e digitando IP-SERVER:80 restituiva la pagine di cortesia di Apache...tutto bene.
Volendo gestire i virtual host stavo seguendo questa guida:

Ma perchè di default centOS ha il firewall impostato a: NEGA TUTTO ?
Qual'è il document root di default ?

Chiedo ammenda se ritorno un attimo su questo topic, ma non vorrei creare doppioni
Dopo avere eseguito con successo tutti i comandi elencati, accedendo all' ip del server non mi appare la pagina di cortesia di Apache.
Nella directory /var/www/html non ho trovato il classico "index.html"
Premetto che dopo l'installazione minimal, ho eseguito solo questi comandi che elenco ed effettuato il rebbot:

yum install httpd
service httpd start
systemctl enable httpd.service

shutdown -r now

ho installato centOS7 Minimal

Ho poi eseguito questi comandi:

seguiti da:

systemectl enable httpd.service

Eseguendo l'ultimo comando mi viene restituito:
-bash: systemectl: command not found
