Laptop / Centos 7-blocchi su impostazioni

Buongiorno
Ho installato Centos 7 sul mio Dell Latitude E6540 con DE Gnome, configurato per l'uso desktop come da wiki ufficiale, quindi con repository NUX e EPEL e ho notato che spesso si blocca quando accedo a "impostazioni" da pulsante con nome utente in alto a destra.
Ho osservato che anche altre distro si bloccano per qualche istante selezionando questo comando, ma nel caso di Centos il blocco può durare molto a lungo e a volte non risolversi.
Qualcuno sa di cosa si tratta?
